At the end of the recent (2010) HIV/AIDS survey carried out in the Ipong villgages in Obudu and the Abu villages in Boki, a micro-credit program was inaugurated to sustain the vision for key beneficiaries, specifically, those raising children affected by AIDS. Members of the project management team will oversee the plan in such a way that it will become a revolving loan in the community. Community members in some communities (Bebiabe and Bebuatsuan) identified cassava processing as the primary livelihood support projects that will benefit youth, men women and people who are affected by HIV/ADIS.
The objective is to create sustainability for these vulnerable audiences through a Micro-Credit Program for key beneficiaries by offering micro-loans to them.
