It is also a chance to experience the heart of Africa; Nigeria in its rural grandeur. A Trip to Nigeria is not for the faint-of-heart. Nigeria does not have the "natural wonders" or high mountain challenges of Kenya or Tanzania or other Eastern African countries. There are not vast plains full of wildebeasts and zebra. What Nigeria does have is some of the most friendly and hospitable people in the world living mostly in poverty. Nigeria is challenging, but it is also safe and rewarding.
